Since the council’s inception in 1998, we’ve distinguished ourselves as an organization that is in touch with the shifting labour needs of companies across the country. One of our main strengths is our ability to listen and learn from corporations, allowing their needs to help drive our future programs.
We’ve consulted with CEOs and senior leaders across the country and heard the message that an investment in training, both traditional and online, will bring dividends for both the individual and organization. While this investment leads to heightened employee engagement as well as improved performance, today, organizations also want easier, faster and more effective methods of achieving this training investment. In some cases, travel to workshops may be an obstacle and, in other situations, easy online access allows more flexibility and convenience.
As many organizations shift towards web-based learning, the council is also expanding its online services with podcast capabilities and interactive web-based services. By advancing its web-based learning strategies, the council will soon be able to offer online learning events, incorporating user-friendly interactive tools that enhance any participant’s learning experience and outcomes.
