Partner Projects

The council actively collaborates with other organizations to further the goals of Aboriginal inclusion in the workforce.

Our Approach to Partnering

Role
Our role varies and is dependent on project demands. For example, we play an administrative role with some projects, provide funding for others, and facilitate the initial organization of projects that bring partners together to develop business plans.

Partners
Most of our partner projects bring address a cluster of interests including, AHRDAs, educational facilities, government, employers and unions.

Project Focus
Our projects cut across a broad range of sectors and labour markets. Several are trades related, while others prepare Aboriginal people for participation in managerial, administrative and executive professions.

Project Management
To guide our involvement with projects we create, implement and work with cooperation agreements, memorandums of agreement and other institutional arrangements.

Results
Our participation in projects provides us with insight into the operational aspects of plan development, which results in detailed documentation with a long-term shelf life.

Follow-up and Promotion
As part of our knowledge transfer function, project documents are shared with other organizations so that they can build upon prior results and accelerate progress.
