Facilitator Training Workshops

We offer two facilitator training workshops for career development professionals. Available for both Booklet 1: Understanding Yourself and Booklet 2: Finding New Possibilities, each interactive two-day session strikes a balance between informal lecture and practical, hands-on experience. Participants get an opportunity to personally explore the issues and techniques involved in the program, providing you with the ability to critically reflect upon your counselling experience, and conduct your own Guiding Circles client workshops.

The Guiding Circles program combines contemporary career coaching techniques and Aboriginal perspectives. Our workshops will help you fully leverage the program to reach out to individuals, re-affirming their life stories as the beginning of their career journey, and actively engaging them at the point of their life where they are already engaged.

The workshop also shows practitioners how to take advantage of the program’s flexibility. Activities can be presented as a stand-alone program or integrated into an existing delivery program. The activities themselves can be completed in a combination that best suits the needs of the individual or practitioner.
