About the Authors

Gray Poehnell, of Métis descent, is a creative consultant with broad experiences in the research and development of employment counselling programs and resources. He has co-authored a number of counselling programs and workbooks with Dr. Norm Amundson, including Career Pathways and Career Crossroads. Gray is an experienced educator who has worked with a wide range of clients. He has trained career practitioners nationally and internationally.

Dr. Rod McCormick is a member of the Mohawk Nation and works as an associate professor of counselling psychology at the University of British Columbia. He is a consultant with various government and Aboriginal organizations in the area of Aboriginal counselling and mental health.

Dr. Norm Amundson is a professor of counselling psychology at the University of British Columbia. He is a renowned consultant, having worked many national and international groups, and wrote Active Engagement, the Canadian Counselling Association’s 2000 Best Book Award winner.
