Our Expertise

As leaders in the advancement of Aboriginal inclusion, we engage the brightest, most accomplished experts to address career and workforce issues. Guiding Circles is the product of their efforts. Designed by leading practitioners, it offers a holistic blend of innovative career development practices and a traditional Aboriginal worldview.

Authors

Gray Poehnell (Métis) – experienced educator and international career development trainer; co-author of Career Pathways and Career Crossroads.

Dr. Rod McCormick (member, Mohawk Nation) – associate professor of counselling psychology at the University of British Columbia; government consultant on Aboriginal counselling and mental health issues.

Dr. Norm Amundson – professor of counselling psychology at UBC; author of Active Engagement; winner of the Canadian Counselling Association’s Best Book Award (2000).
