Instructor-Led Training

We offer two training formats to meet your organization’s needs – online and instructor-led.

Developed with the expertise of our national partner group, our Aboriginal procurement training will help procurement managers and supply chain specialists better use and develop effective tools and strategies to find and procure from Aboriginal businesses that meet their organization’s needs. Our one-day instructor-led workshop offers a personalized experience for participants, as well as an opportunity to take part in unchartered discussions within the group, which will be led by our experienced facilitator/trainer.

TRAINING OUTCOMES

You will learn the business case and benefits of Aboriginal purchasing, the internal systems and practices that need to be taken into account to be successful in Aboriginal procurement, and Aboriginal supplier outreach, evaluation, contracting and monitoring activities.

Large companies that have many procurement needs and are thinking about adopting or expanding their work with diverse suppliers will especially benefit through this workshop.

ACCREDITATION

Accredited members of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) may be eligible to earn credits towards maintenance of their SCMP designations. Please consult with your PMAC Provincial or Territorial Institute for details.

REGISTRATION

Public workshops are held in cities across Canada at a cost of $995 per person plus tax. See our events section to register for a workshop coming to your area.
