This workshop will take you approximately three hours to complete; including viewing the learning module videos, reading the resource documents and completing the learning journals and competency check at the end of each module.
You are not required to complete the entire workshop at one sitting. There is a final skills survey at the end of the workshop that will serve as a review and a demonstration of what you have learned.

Navigation
To move around the workshop and the different module sections, use the Navigation Bar at the top of the screen. Click the module you want to view and use the arrows at the left and right sides of the bar to reveal more modules of the workshop. Once you pick a module, the materials for that section will then appear in the main screen. By clicking on the appropriate button you can view these materials either in the Overview or Learning Module mode.

Most of the workshop modules are made up of four main types of assets:

- Learning Journals
- Competency Check
In addition – two of the workshop modules will take you inside Fred’s virtual office environment where you will explore his desktop and see the materials that he is gathering in his inclusive procurement journey. Some of the items that you will encounter will only be viewable within the desktop scenario. However, downloaded versions of many of the files will be provided to you in the Resources section of the portal, which can be accessed from the top horizontal menu.
Learning Module Videos
The Learning Module videos are the main component of the workshop and will take you through the story of your virtual employer’s workplace (Procurement Service Providers Inc.) as the company explores and develops skills in inclusive procurement practices.
Resource Documents
After viewing the learning module videos, make sure to read the resource documents provided. Questions in the competency checks and the learning journals will refer to them.
Learning Journals
The Learning Journals have been designed specifically to encourage you to stop and reflect on your learning and give you activities that you can apply on the job. This type of reflection and planning will more than double the information you retain from this workshop and hence you will be more likely to action steps to improvement procurement in your workplace.
Competency Check and Final Skills Survey
There is a Competency Check at the end of each module in the workshop to help you ensure that you have successfully retained the information you have learned. As well, at the end of the workshop, there is a cumulative Skills Survey.
