The Ontario Green Energy and Economy Act

The act is the only one-of-its kind worldwide that directly promotes Aboriginal participation with measures that include:

• an Aboriginal loan guarantee program
• an Aboriginal energy partnerships program
• Aboriginal price incentives over and above the feed-in tariffs being paid for renewable energy
