Mastering Aboriginal Inclusion is an ensemble of reference and ‘how to’ materials to help guide organizations toward a culture of Aboriginal inclusion. The five modules, available only on CD, contain detailed explanations and a wide variety of tutorials, tip sheets, fact sheets, models, templates, guides and tools.
Module One
The Business Case
Presents reasons why organizations should nurture Aboriginal inclusion as a core competency, including the Aboriginal baby boom, the value of Aboriginal diversity to an organization, and corporate social responsibility. The Inclusion Continuum is introduced as a seven-stage ‘manager’s map’ to the world of Aboriginal inclusion.

Module Two
History’s Pendulum: from Exclusion to Inclusion
Explains the case for Aboriginal inclusion as distinctive from other minorities. Canada’s First Peoples, first treated as companions and neighbours by early settlers, were then excluded from the social fabric of Canada by rigorous policies (themselves the model for South African Apartheid) that lasted more than 120 years. Inclusion is the reversal of that grim history.
