Uniting Indigenous Women in Inclusion

Tamara will speak to an international call of action to Indigenous women to help bring their people out of inequality, exclusion and limitation.

Prior to exclusion Indigenous women had a leadership role in their communities across the North American. Now is the time for Indigenous women to exercise their resilience, and return to their historical roots, as agents of change in the transformation toward an inclusive society. It’s time for Aboriginal women to stand beside Aboriginal men and be included as equals in all areas of life. It’s the role of Indigenous women around the world to open their hearts, minds and eyes to new possibilities, new ways of being included, and new ways of living together.
