What new and innovative practices are advancing Aboriginal recruitment, retention, and advancement? This workshop spotlights three important new practices from presenters. The recruitment initiative is a technique of bias-free selection interviewing. The retention initiative is TalentNet, a web-based approach to inclusive talent management. The advancement initiative is the Canadian Forces’ new Aboriginal leadership program ALOY: 2025 and Beyond. Other promising practices will be presented from the floor. Included in this workshop will be early findings of the council’s study into retention practices and improved retention rates among participating corporate partners.
