Inspiring inclusion collaboration and creativity through drum…
This first-class event promises to be a memorable must attend evening for Inclusion Works ’10 delegates and non-delegates. We have designed the Gala Evening to translate inclusion from an idea into an engulfing and highly memorable and interactive experience. This year’s Gala accents an international Indigenous theme where we share one global heartbeat. The evening’s dominant medium is the drum, onstage and off so everyone is engaged in creating the heartbeat.
Silent Charity Art Auction
The silent art auction will showcase Coyote and Raven, the cultural heroes and voices of change (transformation) in Aboriginal art and culture. To creatively demonstrate that inclusion works, dynamic and exciting Aboriginal art from all across Canada will be highlighted at the charity event. So, if you want to paddle on a canoe journey with Coyote and Raven, the silent art auction will be the trip of a lifetime
Proceeds from the charity auction are used to help First Nations, Métis and Inuit people build hope for an independent life and a rewarding career. This year, proceeds for the Silent Charity Art Auction will be used to help advance career opportunities for Inuit by providing Guiding Circles facilitator training to members of the Arctic Children Youth Foundation.
