Grad Funding and Selection

A selection committee comprising of human resources professionals will match all successful applicants to the needs of the employers participating in the recruitment fair. The number of grads selected for an “all expense paid” trip to Toronto is dependent on the number of employers participating.

The fee employers’ pay to attend the recruitment fair will be used to cover all costs associated with hosting the recruitment fair. Part of this fee will be used to cover the travel expenses of two graduates for each employer attending the fair.

Depending on the interview needs of the employers and the potential to match these needs to more recruitment fair applicants, interview opportunities may become available to grads that are able to fund or get funding to cover their travel expenses. Additional grads will not be selected based solely on funding availability – they must be top graduates and they must match the needs of the employers.

All applicants will be advised on the status of their application by March 1, 2010.
