Communications Officer / Office Manager

Yvonne comes to the council with a solid background in administration in a wide variety of sectors including construction, real estate and finance. Her ability to readily adapt to changing environments and economic situations is an asset to the council’s long-term vision and goals.

Much of Yvonne’s career was spent with Dawn Food Products (Canada) Ltd. of Saskatoon, particularly as marketing coordinator. Her responsibilities at Dawn Foods included the development and design of sales aids and printed marketing materials, the management of promotional and corporate communications inventories and the integration of new product packaging and labeling.

The promotional concepts which Yvonne developed for Dawn Foods’ national and international trade show booths have resulted in “best booth” awards in Toronto and Vancouver.

Yvonne’s creative drive, her insistence on high quality results, her attention to detail and her team leadership skills have been acknowledged as important factors in the success of Dawn Foods’ sales and marketing strategies.

At the council, Yvonne provides valuable administrative support to the senior management team and serves as liaison between the council and its board members and its champions. As Executive Assistant/Office Manager she is responsible to supervising administrative personnel and developing and managing head office protocols. Yvonne lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
