Paula Sawyer

Program Coordinator

The AHRC welcomes Paula Sawyer as a new member of its administrative support team. Paula brings to the council an extraordinary range of previous work experience. Her background includes employment in bookkeeping, sales and marketing, landscaping, home space organization, office management, and the management of facilities for industries as varied as real estate, interior design, and counselling. Paula describes one of her most memorable work experiences: shepherding 900 head of sheep in the mountains of British Columbia. Paula graduated with a business degree, and the combination of her business acumen and her varied work experiences makes her a valuable addition to the council’s administrative team.

Paula comes from a multicultural family where Métis is an important part of the mix. She is drawn to the outdoors and loves travel, exercise, music, dance, theatre, and the arts; but most of all, she relishes spending quality time with friends & family.
