Leadership

We have a two-tier governance structure: Council Champions’ and as board of directors.

Our Champions’ are nationally recognized leaders from Aboriginal communities, the upper tiers of government and the highest ranks of pivotal Canadian industries. This group provides the council with guidance on threshold issues that define the organization’s strategies. The Champions’ promote our initiatives to their peers in government, industry and among Aboriginal organizations.

The board of directors provides policy direction and support to the president and chief executive officer to ensure that the vision of the Champions’ becomes a reality.
