Thank you for a successful conference in 2007!
We extend a tremendous thank you to all who contributed to the success of our first national Aboriginal recruitment, retention and advancement conference, Unlocking Aboriginal Potential in the Workforce. In total 350 professionals gathered in Ottawa from April 3-5, 2007 to share expertise, knowledge, and insight to advance Aboriginal labour market strategies in Canada.
The breakdown of delegates and speakers at the conference:
- Aboriginal community (37 per cent)
- private sector (30 per cent)
- government/not-for-profit/sector councils (22 per cent)
- training institutions (11 per cent)
